THE FARM ROUTE

Local Harvest. Shared Abundance.

🌾 YOUR FARM ROUTE MENU GUIDE

🌱 From the farm to your kitchen, your produce already has a plan.

🌾Every week, your Farm Route share begins a little journey—from the hands that grew it, to your front door, to the meals you create around your table. This guide is here to travel with you through the week and keep you from meal planning in your car in the grocery store parking lot. Come back online whenever you need a little inspiration, a reminder of what to cook first, or an idea for turning what is left into tomorrow’s meal. Inside your delivery, you’ll also find the guide for your specific share with your name on it and your roadmap for the box.Think of each weekly menu as two companions for the journey: 🧺 your Weekly Share Guide helps you move through the whole box, and 🍲 your Featured Farm Recipe gets its own clean page so you can save it, cook it again, and slowly build a collection of recipes you love.

🎃 FEATURED HARVEST STORY — SEMINOLE PUMPKIN

Seminole pumpkin is a food with deep Florida roots. Indigenous peoples cultivated its vigorous vines around trees, where the pumpkins could grow hanging above the ground—a tradition remembered in Chassahowitzka, interpreted as “pumpkin hanging place.” Built for Florida’s heat and humidity, its thick skin also made it an incredible storage food. The harvest was eaten fresh or sliced and dried for later. Very little needs to go to waste: the sweet, firm flesh can be roasted, mashed, or added to soups and sauces, while the seeds can be roasted for a snack. One pumpkin, generations of knowledge, and plenty of meals still to come. 🌱🌻

🍽️ What does “meal count” mean? A meal count is a planning estimate for meaningful portions of Farm Route produce that help build a meal—not a promise of complete meals. Pair your produce with the foods already at home: protein, rice, pasta, grains, beans, eggs, cheese, bread, sauces, and other pantry staples.
